ABOUT ARÉANNA - PURSUING A PASSION
Ever since I was little, I loved performing. I have been blessed to have grown up in the Lancaster County area in PA, which has become a hotspot for theatre in the past 20 years. When I was 9, I was cast in my first professional show, and I fell in love with musical theatre. The stage, the adrenaline rush, the feeling of fulfillment, the relationships formed, and the ability to deeply communicate with and move an audience captivated me. The performing arts is one of the most effective mediums for bringing hope and joy, stirring empathy, sharing a message, providing an escape, and inspiring change. I knew this was my passion and calling.
I continued to pursue performing opportunities, worked to hone my skills, branched into acting for film, and attended South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University where I received my BFA in Musical Theatre and BS in Business Management. Since graduating, I have been working in the Lancaster area as an actress in musicals, plays, commercial work, voiceover, film---anything I can get my hands on! I've also been able to use theatre to give back to my community by serving as a choreographer and assistant director for educational camps in Lancaster City and at our local community theatre.

I am constantly amazed by the power theatre has to bring people together and bring out their best, most authentic selves. I know it is what I will pursue the rest of my life. I am incredibly thankful for each gained experience, and I am excited for all the opportunities that lie ahead to continue pursuing my passion for touching people's lives through the performing arts.
